The Scientist career from Get to Work is my favorite thing in the game. I don't think there's anything wrong with liking career gameplay the best. So yeah, I found that once I broke up the cycle and spend more attention to planning parties and holidays and taking the Sims away from their home, the game became a lot more fun and stories painted themselves.
The City Living festivals are also always a good option to take your sim out! The weather helps you decide if you want your Sims to stay home (thunderstorm) or go out and do something fun. There’s some videos on YouTube where people discuss the holidays they added onto the calendar and I think that’s really fun! You can make it entirely as you want. You might end up with a loner freegan who just wants to live off the grid as a hermit, or a nerdy sim who goes on to discover the alien world.Ģ) the calendar.
